My friend has recommended me this place for early dinner.
So I went there and has no regrets: simple, fresh and tasty food.  Really enjoyed it!
And the staff is very friendly and customer oriented!

I live in Hawaii and while we were cruising down the antique shops, we saw this place and stopped in hoping to get some yummy poke.

First of all, there is nothing here that resembles the kind of awesome food we have in Hawaii.  If you look up genuine Hawaiian poke bowls, it resembles nothing in this shop.

Second, the fish here is awful.  The fish quality is poor and tasted old.

The service here was good which is why I gave another star.  However I would never come here again.

I had tried to come to this place once before but my coworker didn't like that there wasn't a place to sit. I came back here to grab a poke bowl to go.  I wanted to order ahead through Yelp, but it wouldn't let you choose two bases, which I wanted - half soba half salad. So I drove there and parked.

First off, I will say parking is kind of a pain, only street parking and since Portos is just down the street, its very hard to find. I circled the block and saw someone leaving, so I happily snagged that spot. I ordered from  the guy, as the girl was helping someone else, and then it swapped. I checked in with yelp and got free avocado.  I was a bit disappointed that you only got two toppings and each additional topping was a dollar. I wanted edamame, seaweed and crab salad.  Halfway through the guy and girl swapped again and he tried to charge me for the avocado. She told him I checked in but to charge me for the extra topping. So for a medium - three protein, one extra topping, it was $15.  The first bite was of salad tasted a bit funky, but overall was good.  So I can't say its my favorite poke place, but its decent.

I really love this poke place. We've been regulars here for about a year and a half now, and the customer service is wonderful and they play my kind of music on the playlist!

No matter how busy it gets, everyone gets some nice individual attention.

I love the atmosphere, we love having little picnics outside the place eating our little bowls.

Our favorite worker there is Amber (I know, great name ;)

She is always making sure we get the best deals.

The only thing is that for vegans they don't have marinated/seasoned tofu and which I heard is preferred, but I suppose if you like to custom-season your tofu it may be a plus for you.

Their organic iced green tea is so yummy and I love the stamp card so we can get a free bowl every so often, great deals! Yay!

    Pros:
+ Very friendly and efficient staff.
+ Good portions especially for the money. Some interesting topping options I haven't seen elsewhere. Fresh mango, furikake, and good vegetable choices.
+ Fresh tasty fish. Good ahi tuna especially.
+ Good app integration so you can order online and pick up when you're ready.

    Cons:
    - I think the restaurant needs some slightly better ventilation - the fish is always fresh and tasty but there's still a vague fishy smell when you walk in the door which can be off putting.
    - Parking is a nightmare in this part of Burbank.
